EUROBIOBIZ
With offices in the United States and France, Eurobiobiz is a global leader in the creation and development of Biotech/Life Science Companies. To date, Eurobiobiz has participated in the launch of over 40 Biotechnology companies worldwide.
Using its proprietary Biobiz workshops sponsored by the European Commission, Eurobiobiz’s primary business goal is to maximize the number of successful start-up companies in the Biotech field by facilitating scientists’ access to capital.
More than 500 scientists have been engaged with the company since its inception in 1999.

MICHEL G. LEPERS, CEO:
Before founding Eurobiobiz in 1999, to boost Biotech company creation in Europe, Michel was European Manager of Amersham Life Sciences (UK). He previously held senior operational positions with international pharmaceutical companies (Beecham, Astra, Searle, Glaxo)
At Eurobiobiz, with continuous support of the European Commission in the Biobiz workshops, he has trained more than 500 scientists in the best practices to create successful Biotech companies. He also has directly supported the creation of 8 start-ups.
Michel is associate professor at Université d’Auvergne in charge of Tech transfer. He is an expert for the European Commission and governments. Michel specializes in evaluating scientific projects for investment.
He is also board member of several biotech companies.

FABRICE CAILLOUX, Business manager:
Fabrice is a specialist of setting up innovating companies. He has a dual education in life sciences (Ph.D in Molecular Biology) and business administration (Paris Dauphine). Fabrice has set up and managed two Biotech start-ups (NUCLEICA & NEURONAX). He assists research laboratory in the different phases of technology valorization from bench results to patent technologies, industrial partners finding and setting up new company.

STEPHANIE GIBERT, Business manager:
After acquiring a Master in Biology and a Master in company management (IAE Bordeaux), Stephanie has participated in the management of several Biotechnologies start-ups. She is specialist in the expertise and the management of European projects (Eureka, FP5 and FP6) and in technical and economical feasibility studies.

JOEL CROUZET :
Joël Crouzet holds a PhD from Institut National Agronomique of Paris and has 15 years of experience in R&D in Biotechnology. His last positions include Research Director of Neurotech SA and AP Cells, and Department Director at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer Gencell. He is the co-inventor of more than twenty patent applications or issued patents, four of which are either used industrially or in advanced clinical development. Recently, Joël Crouzet, has gained a strong expertise in business development and technology transfer at Inserm-Transfert where he has negotiated numerous licensing and collaborative deals with Pharmas and start-up and detected and coached research results with strong innovative potential.
